Big Chill at the Big House

The University of Michigan will host Michigan State University at Michigan Stadium in the "Big Chill at the Big House." This event on December 11, 2010 will break the current outdoor attendance record set in 2001 when the teams met at Spartan Stadium. Info

USA Hockey: USA Hockey supports the grassroots hockey programs around the country and promotes the growth of the game in the United States. Adray: Community amateur hockey league that contains divisions throughout Michigan. NAHL: North American Hockey League. The only Tier II Junior A League in the country. League prior to playing in the OHL or NCAA.
MAHA: An affiliate of USA Hockey, Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) supervises all sanctioned amateur hockey in the state of Michigan. MHSAA: Michigan High School Athletic Association. Governing body for all high school athletics. CSHL: Central States Hockey League, Junior A Tier III. Home to four Michigan bases teams, including; Flint Jr. Generals, Grand Rapids Owls, Metro Jets and the Motor City Chiefs.
Tier I Elite: Tier I elite hockey league for both boys and girls in the Midwest. USHL: United States Hockey League, Junior A Tier I hockey. Two Michingan based teams compete in this league: United States National Training Development Program and the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
LCAHL: Michigan's largest amateur hockey association with over 900 travel and house teams and 16,000 youth hockey players. OHL: Ontario Hockey League, part of the Canadian Hockey League. Includes two Michigan based teams, the Plymouth Whalers and Saginaw Spirit. NHL: National Hockey League. Highest level of competition in the world.
